Before joining DAG, you held the position of CEO at Aesthetic Retail and served as COO at OMA and Nicobar. How would you characterize these brands as entities, and what leadership insights did you glean from these experiences?
Before joining DAG, I held leadership positions as CEO at Aesthetic Retail and as the COO at OMA and Nicobar. These brands, each distinct in their offerings, provided invaluable insights into organi-zational dynamics and leadership.
At Nicobar, a premium fashion and life style unit under the Eicher group, I was privileged to be part of the core team. My responsibilities included overseeing various facets of the business such as retail channel design & expansion, sourcing, merchandising, quality control, and customer care. Notably, I spearheaded the development and execution of 'Go to Market' strategies, a pivotal aspect of our success.
Conversely, my tenure at OMA, a luxury home décor brand under the Hero group, allowed me to establish a digital platform, offering profound insights into the Indian luxury market landscape while managing the entire business.
With Aesthetics Retail Private Limited (ARPL), I managed multiple brands like INV Home, Originate, and Home4U, specializing in home décor and premium apparel. Here, I led the launch and re-launch initiatives for these brands, ensuring rapid break-even within the first year of operations.
These diverse experiences have enriched my leadership journey, equipping me with a nuanced understanding of brand positioning and the strategic acumen needed to drive their success.
